In 1936, Oswald Mathier founded Vins des Chevaliers. His unmistakable intuition for future development has led him to groundbreaking successes. He introduced cold sterile fillings in the 1940s and developed Guyot’s cut. He dug the ground very deeply and in a revolutionary way. At first, the other winemakers were skeptical but later they saw an improvement in quality. Creativity, ideas, entrepreneurial spirit, and above all wine enthusiasm, those are values of Patrick Z’Brun who started to run the company in 2008. The wines of the Vins des Chevaliers were a Swiss Air partner and traveled the world together with millions of passengers. Our winery is our life.
